Double click inside the The Sims 3 folder and run the exe application. Have fun and play! Make sure to run the game as administrator and if you get any missing dll errors, look for a Redist or CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in the folder. The Sims 3 Free Download. Click the download button below to start The Sims 3 Free. I have no BIN/Game folder anywhere. I am trying to install some custom content that requires me to put it in the BIN/Game folder, and no matter where I search on my computer, there is no other Electronic art's folder other than the one in Documents, and that one does not have a BIN/Game Folder.
- edited August 2015Hello.
Edited to update the information, to repost what I wrote in a later post.
The game/bin should be in C: ProgramFiles/ ElectronicArts/Thesims3/game/bin .
Or C: ProgramFiles (x86) / ElectronicArts/Thesims3/game/bin .
Make sure that you can see hidden files.

Well, when I looked in my Documents, The sims 3 folder was there but it had no 'Game' folder... - If you right-click your Sims 3 icon and look at the properties, it should tell you where the game folder is located.0

Where does it say that? I just looked around the properties but didn't find anything about the game folder - Argh. I even tried reinstalling my game. It didn't work...

I did the Hidden Files thing but I still don't have a 'The Sims 3' Folder in my Electronic Arts under C:/ Program Files/ Electronic Arts... Is there something wrong with my game? - Was your game purchased via Origin? If so, the file path is:0
- Hello.
The game/bin will be where Sims 3 is installed on your computer. If you bought it through Origin, then it would be like Phantomflex said and be under Origin Games.

I still can't seem to find it, but my Game doesn't seem to be having any problems anymore - edited August 2015Did you try looking under
C: ProgramFiles (x86) / ElectronicArts/Thesims3/game/bin .
Some simmers have it under ProgramFiles and other simmers have it under ProgramFiles(x86)
I am glad that your game is working without issues now.
Edit to say that I reread what you posted in your first post and you had already looked there.
Right click the Sims 3 icon on your desktop, and press properties. Then look at where it says ' Start in' That will tell you where the the sims 3 exe file is. The sims 3 exe file is located in the game/bin.
